Andrew is leading the charge to save Poulton’s Teanlowe Post Office from closure, bringing together MPs from all parties in Westminster to strengthen the fight.
The Teanlowe Post Office is one of 115 Crown offices nationwide facing closure or franchising as part of a major overhaul of the Post Office network. These branches, directly run by the Post Office, are often crucial to communities, especially in town centres.
Andrew said:
“We must do everything we can to keep Poulton’s Post Office open. That’s why I’m uniting with Labour and Lib Dem MPs who are also fighting to protect Post Offices in their areas. This is about communities, not politics.”
Earlier today, Andrew co-chaired a cross-party meeting of over 20 MPs to work on a plan to stop these closures.
He added:
“We’re demanding full transparency, genuine consultation, and a clear focus on saving these vital community services. Working together is the best way we can make our voices heard.”
Andrew’s campaign to protect the Teanlowe Post Office is gathering momentum with over 2500 signatures in less than a week. Residents are urged to join the fight by signing the petition at andrewsnowden.uk/campaigns.
